~ Back to Blogging!! ~

It is amazing how fast time flies! 

It saddens me to say that I had stopped contributing to the blog for a few reasons, mainly the other areas in my life had become quite overwhelming that by the time I had the free time to do what I please I had no will power to sit down write, post pictures and just generally speaking, be creative. 

As we all know though life goes through many different stages and multiple changes and I am happy to report that things are looking up!

Please keep an eye out for a year in review post coming soon! 

I will try and sum up 2012 with pictures and blurbs of the happenings in my life.

I am excited to be back in the blogging world and I hope you will look forward my 2013 adventures!!

Outfit of the day ~ Business attire

So I must admit I allow my outfits to reflect my feelings. When I am tired and fed up with work, my clothing usually looks the same... but some days just to get through the monotony of the work week I like to 'dress up' for the office.

My outfit today is a beautiful white silk top which I found at Spree and a fitted high-waisted black skirt from Jacobs. I paired it with Enzo Angiolini open toe wedges.

Christmas Party Outfit!
I was looking to do a simple black dress (so that I can wear it again) with red accessories. After trying a multitude of dresses on, I finally found this Black Satin dress at Bebe on sale! I looked all over for an elaborate necklace and could not get this BCBG stunner out of my mind... So at the very last minute I went back and got it and I have to say it definitely complimented the outfit beautifully!

~ Christmas Sparkles

I was having one of those lazy weekend afternoons and thought I would spice up my red nails with some OPI sparkles!

I have a love/hate relationship with sparkles... I love how they look but they are a killer to take off, so I will hold on to these as long as I possibly can lol

I really like how this polish has many different coloured sparkles: red, green, blue, silver, and gold!!

They remind me of glittery little Christmas trees and add a little bit of cheer to those cold wintery days.

~April's Christmas List

It's that time of the year when certain items we have been wishing for all year long may possibly become ours!... that is, if you've been good and Santa is feeling generous ;)
I decided to break down my list into categories: Wants, Wishes and something I have been wishing for, for a long time now....

1: Wants

Pandora Charms
I resisted the whole Pandora craze for a good while, but once I got gifted one I fell in love and want to fill it up with all their cute charms!!

Reversible Fur Vest
Been trying to find a cute Fur Vest that doesn't make me feel boxy... and it has deemed itself almost impossible, until I came across this one at Bebe. It still gives you a 'shape' while allowing you to dive into the whole fur vest trend!

Pom-Pom Toque
Ever since I saw these toques in Switzerland I've wanted one, but at the time was too cheap to spend the 50-70$ and get it. Now 2 years later and unable to find one I like I'm kicking myself for not buying it back then. Let me know if you have seen these toques anywhere!

Christmas Decorations!

Nothing makes me more excited then decorating for Christmas, there is no comparison to the warm, cozy feeling that the Holiday Season brings! As you will see I love snowman and penguins... and traditional Christmas colours. I love warm Christmas lights and unique Christmassy pieces. I am still looking to find a Snowman Cookie Jar, a pair of Silver-ish (or similar) Reindeer and also some type of small glass or sequined decorative Christmas Trees.
